While the wedding ceremony is the highlight of every relationship ending up in the altar, the couple will always look forward to the honeymoon.

Every newly- wedded couple will always feel the stress of wedding preparations. Even couples who are wise enough and who are capable of getting a wedding planner will not be exempt from the after- wedding desire to be stress- free. Thus, almost all couples will always consider their honeymoon the best part of getting married.

Honeymoon is a time to rest after all the wedding- related stress; it is a time to enjoy the company of each other away from the peering eyes of friends and relatives. It is a time for the couple to get to know each other better and intimately.

While majority of couples want their honeymoon to be wonderful, there is always the financial aspect that they have to contend with. The wedding ceremony may be the focal point of the whole preparation but the preparation itself requires a budget. The bride and groom and the entourage has to pay for their wedding dresses and tuxedos. The couple has to pay for the wedding services, the license, the wedding cake, the dinner and all wedding requirements.

What usually happens is that the couple spends too much on the wedding preparation that they end up having little and sometimes no budget for the honeymoon. But who said a couple could not have a romantic honeymoon if they o not have a large budget?

A honeymoon is basically already a romantic event because it is the time when the newly- wedded couple bond with each other. This alone should make the honeymoon romantic and memorable. Of course, there are at least five ways to make honeymoon a memorable event, even for a meager budget.

Every couple should take note of these five honeymoon money saving tips so they can have a fabulous time on their honeymoon without worrying about large financial requirements.

1. Avail of the services of a honeymoon registry so the guests will know what you need and want as a wedding gift

Gone are the days when a couple has to suffer in silence while opening the fifth identical wedding gift they have received; a dinnerware set. Through the wedding registry, the couple can inform the guests that they want or that they are in need of a honeymoon package. Guests who can afford such package can give them a free honeymoon instead of giving a gift that the couple does not need or a gift that they already have. Some of their friends may pool their resources together and gift them with a honeymoon package. This would mean great savings for the couple as well as a fabulous and free honeymoon.

2. Plan the honeymoon ahead of time and avail of promotions offered by resorts as early as one year away from the wedding date

Planning is till the best way to keep your resources intact and become more cost effective in your expenditures. With proper planning, the couple can take advantage of honeymoon packages or resort promotions offered by resort owners. There are honeymoon destinations that are offering big discounts for reservations made ahead of time. Some even offer as much as fifty percent discount for couples who book their honeymoon months before their wedding. This is to ensure the future income of the resorts. By availing of these promotions, the couple will not only be able to save on their finances but will also be able to plan their honeymoon itinerary ahead of time.

3. Spend your honeymoon in a fabulous tourist island but take advantage of home- stay programs offered by some areas

Some areas offer home- stay programs to promote their tourism at a lower cost. Local governments sometimes promote their tourism by gathering responsible folks and training them to become home- stay partners. Under this scheme, the homes of respected locals are accredited by the tourism officials and they become official tourist h9ome- hotels. Home stay accommodations are generally less expensive than hotels. Availing of this package can save the couple thousands of dollars that would have been spent for hotel accommodation alone.

4. Why not try being one with nature and go camping for your honeymoon instead of staying in an expensive hotel?

Couples who are nature lovers can go backpacking for their honeymoon and enjoy others company with only the moon and the stars as witnesses. His could be the best and the most romantic idea for a non- expensive honeymoon. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for hotel accommodations save the money for other important matters and take a nice trip to a deserted island.

5. Timing is important so plan your honeymoon, if not the wedding during off season

Tourist and honeymoon facilities offer as much as fifty percent discount for tourists who would visit their establishments during non- peak seasons. Do not time the honeymoon with summer or other dates when tourists would be flocking to the islands or resorts because this would be very expensive. Visit these areas during the off- peak season can mean less cost and more privacy.

About the Author

For more great honeymoon related articles and resources check out http://honeymoonhq.info

An Evening Sky

Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things. - Peter F. In order to accomplish this you need to pick the type of travel ticket very carefully.

One of the factors is going to be is that you will have to be able to stay at a destination on a Saturday night or if this is not possible if you can make a reservation two weeks in advance you will find that you get some great savings on your ticket. At one time business fares used to be fairly high and there wasn't much flexibility in the price now with the economy taking a downturn even the business flights are becoming far more competitive. Another airfare secretor two that you might hear about are called the open jaw or hidden cities. Booking a hidden city ticket basically comes down to stop overs at two airports but at the same time getting off at a city as a stopover, which was your intended destination anyways.

Often you can get great airfare savings when it comes to the open jaw tickets and what this means is that you comply to one city is your destination but return home from another city. Needless to say, airlines aren't happy that people utilizing these type of tactics learned from airfare secrets and they keep a close eye out our people that are trying to beat the system.

Be careful with your frequent flyer miles as quite often you won't get the same deal if you're going after one that's offering great flyer miles and sometimes we lose sight of what the best deal is.

You may want to take a look at some of the major airlines, which has frequent flyer program as well, and in these cases sometimes, they can be a good deal as well.

There are some people that take advantage when it comes to airfare secrets regarding bumping from a flight and what happens here is that the individual will make a reservation on a regular airline. Then at the same time, you ask if the flight is almost sold out then you only made the reservation if the flight is pretty well booked. Make sure that you stay in the crowd at the right time when waiting to board. Than when you arrive check in 15 minutes prior to getting on the plane but make sure, you stay at the end of the line. The airline might ask for volunteers for bumping and if this is the case then this is your time to speak up. One of the things you want to remember though is that you're not going to get a free flight if this airline manages to get you another flight to the same destination within an hour's time.

Many seniors didn't realize that there's some great airfare secrets savings to be had by them as well. Reaching 50 or 55 in the course 60 has some great privileges when it comes to travel. You will be required to prove your date of birth and always make sure that you check the discounts for seniors whenever you are shopping for great air flight rates because these change regularly.

And finally there is a must see Airfare Secrets guide written by a former airline industry source. Although there are a couple of six and seven star hotels, five stars are the norm for the highest standard of hotel. As with any star ratings, 5 star hotel facilities will vary from country to country and city to city, although some of the famous brands will uphold similar standards amongst their hotels.

However when you stay in a 5 star hotel you can expect the ultimate in luxury and here we will give a rough guide as to what sort of facilities you should anticipate.

A five star hotel will offer unique sophistication, innovative facilities, beautiful surrounding and the highest standards of luxury and extravagance. A place where you can be totally indulgent and all your needs will be met. 5 star hotel facilities often go hand in hand with world-class golf resorts, business hotels with conference centres, a course package and relaxing spa destinations.

They may be ultra modern boutique hotels in the city, timelessly extravagant in the countryside, in a castle or a green and environmentally friendly location. The type of 5 star accommodations you choose will naturally be down to personal choice, but it will be the best that money can buy.

Five star hotel facilities will involve luxurious surroundings and high-class service. The room or suite will be immaculately and tastefully furnished and decorated, as will the rest of the hotel. Many hotels of this type will have a choice of types of bedrooms such as business premiere, contemporary superior and fashion rooms. No matter which style you choose, it will be immaculate and the bed will be top quality and comfortable.

There will be a day and night reception, luggage storage, room service, valet, money exchange, and safety boxes, a choice of bars, pools, restaurants and entertainments. Health clubs, gymnasiums, spa facilities will be standard, as will a minibars, flat screen TV, CD, DVD, radio and WiFi Internet connection in your room.

Tennis courts, golf courses, laundry facilities, a diversified menu for worldwide tastes and a nightclub to enjoy a memorable evening. There will be a choice of meeting and function rooms. You can expect fully air-conditioned over-sized en suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and your room will have a balcony, terrace or fantastic view.

You will be eating in award winning restaurants serving up the freshest and finest ingredients with a waiter service beyond comparison. Although 5 star hotels facilities are the very best, your choice will greatly depend upon personal preferences, so it pays to take a look around until you find you ideal location. Then when you choose a hotel with 5 stars you will have the very best hotel for your requirements.

A great selection of hotels at http://directline-hotels.co.uk All at the latest prices and offers on all hotels, including cheap hotels, luxury hotels and all inclusive hotels. It is such as worldwide thing; after all, how many people have photos of their loved ones in their home?
A portrait can say a thousand words. These pictures need no explanation, and in a nice frame, can make the perfect gift! Both personal and thoughtful, gifts such as these do not have to be wildly expensive and can be the greatest gift, especially when you cannot think of anything else to get the recipient!
Think of the portrait photography that occurs at weddings? Wonderful pictures of the bride, bride and groom, family altogether and such like. Why not purchase one of these photos straight from the photography professional and having it blown up to give them on their first anniversary as a gift and suchlike. Again, portrait photography such as this needs no explanation and everyone will know what it is.
The same applies for new babies. Why not have a photography professional take beautiful pictures of the new addition and have the photos put in lovely frames as a gift to the new parents? You could also use the portrait photography to make a scrap book for either the child or the parents as a gift for when they get a little older, and this can be done for the duration of his or her life to make a complete photo album from every birthday and Christmas. Again, a personal and thoughtful gift that will bring a smile to any parents face!
Graduations are another time when portrait photography comes into play. Everyone wants a photo of this special and proud day, especially the parents and Grandparents. These make wonderful memories and keepsakes and can be blown and hung on the wall to have pride of place where everyone will see it.
Any photography professional will tell you that you should never need an excuse to have wonderful portrait photography done to hang in your house or give to family and friends as cute and personal gifts. You can then use the photos on cups, mouse mats, calendars, magnets and anything else that you can think of. These are very personal presents and can be used for any occasion, whether it is a birthday, Christmas or anniversary.
The best photography professional should have great people skills, and when you are looking for someone to take photos of you or your loved ones, you should shop around for the best prices. There is no point in going to a photographer that will charge a small fortune for tiny prints of your portraits. However, it works the other way as well; you do not want to pay an amateur a small amount of money to take photos that you could have done better. You need to have a fine balance in between the two ideas, where the photographer will do the job that is required without charging a lot of money for the work.
Shopping around is the best hinted that anyone could ever give you. Look online and in the phone book for different photography professionals and make a note of different prices for different sized prints and suchlike and then chooses the one that you believe will do the best job.
Article Source: http://www.new.citynewslive.com
This is Venture is a leading photography specialist in the UK. Lighting is without question, the single most important aspect in photography. Today we will discuss how your camera sees light.
If you look at a standard gray scale one end is pure white and the other is pure black. Of the several shades in between, the one right in the middle is called neutral or middle gray. Middle gray is the standard used to determine a perfect exposure and is what your camera light meter is calibrated to expose for. With each shot, the camera reads and evaluates the overall brightest and darkest area of the scene, then calibrates or averages the light (highlight) & dark (shadow) area of the image, looking for a middle gray exposure. Todays cameras are fairly accurate and this averaging metering system can produce good quality images in most cases. Or it will produce an exposure that you can at least manipulate to your liking.
Now under ideal lighting situations the averaging system that your camera uses to evaluate the lighting is fine. However anything less than ideal lighting is going to create some problems, when you use your camera, in auto exposure mode. A good example of this is, when you include, a large area of sky in your composition. The cameras meter averages the overall scene, and if your sky is considerably brighter than your main subject, or foreground area, you will end up with an under exposed subject or foreground. Now if you are trying to shoot a silhouette that is fine. But if your main subject is in the foreground you will need to make an exposure compensation, by increasing your exposure manually, or use a fill flash to get the proper exposure on your main subject.
Another difficult lighting situation is winter shots with lots of white snow. The camera will see all that snow and try to make the overall scene middle gray, under exposing the shot unless you make a manual adjustment to compensate.
Knowing how your camera works and how it does its calculations will help you fool the camera and correct the exposure when you want to have control over the final results.
When you are in a situation with a lot of snow, for instance, you can do a few things to compensate for the mistake your camera will be inclined to make.
The first and easiest solution is to see if your camera might actually have a setting for snow. If it does, then adjust your camera settings accordingly. This tells the camera to adjust for the scene being predominantly white. The camera will automatically make the adjustments and not try to make your snow middle gray.
The other, more advanced, thing you can do is adjust the camera settings yourself. In your cameras modes you can set your camera to take shots that will be 1-2 f-stops over or under exposed (read your manual for how to do this on your camera). Most slr cameras have a + &- dial that you can make your adjustments with. Experiment and take a few notes. In no time it will become second nature to you and you will recognize when an exposure compensation is needed almost instantly.
Take a few test shots and look at your histogram. A perfect exposure will have a peak like a mountain or hill in the middle. If this peak is to the left it is leaning toward under exposure and if it is to the right it is leaning towards over exposure.
When switching modes and making these types of adjustments, be sure to change them back when you are done.
Learn about photography lighting, camera exposure and other professional photography lessons by viewing the authors bio box.
About the Author
Meredith's husband is an "International Hall Of Fame" Photographer. For todays ever growing ranks of digital photographers however, it brings to mind thoughts of a stamp-sized memory card, a pocket hard drive, or CDs and DVDs. Welcome to the world of digital photography, which is fundamentally changing the way we capture and preserve images.
Digital photography today is a rapidly growing consumer pastime with many advantages versus traditional film-based cameras, including the ability to immediately review, erase, annotate or categorize images, speed and ease of operation, and quality at the high end of the digital photography scale. Although some film cameras can operate without batteries, minus the flash, most consumers are unconcerned with use in wet or poor weather environments and are drawn to digital cameras by all of the advantages that they offer.
Because of this, the entire photography industry is changing to embrace different consumer preferences, including a reduced desire for printed photos. The market for printed photos from film in the United States peaked in 2000 at over 30 billion, and then fell to under 26 billion by 2004. Initially, there were problems with quick-service photography shops cropping digital images in order to force them to print properly on the same paper used by film cameras as more and more people move to digital however, services and products emerge to make it easier to transfer your memories from electronic to tangible.
Some people feel that a picture just isnt a picture if you cant put it into a frame (although wireless, internet-enabled miniature LCD picture frames ARE available) or store it in a photo album. But many of todays young people are much more comfortable with technology than their parents and grandparents. It is not uncommon for a college student to feel more secure with electronic images than paper ones.
No one is certain whether digital photography will eventually reduce our demand for photo prints, but it is guaranteed that the way of the future in photography is digital. Additionally, there are far more snapshots being taken than ever before, due to the ease with which they can be reviewed and removed from digital cameras. So whether youre partial to electronic or shoebox image storage, be ready for photos to get easier, better and cheaper in coming years and of course, keep smiling.
Caitlin Moore is an avid photographer, and one the editors of dpdigest.com an informative website dedicated to digital photography, with extensive information about digital SLR cameras, memory cards, special effects filters and more.
Caitlin Moore
Caitlin Moore is an avid photographer, and one the editors of We all know the digital camera is better than the film cameras because you can do so much more with them, you don't need to pay for film and get it processed continuously, and it's better quality than film. The real question is which digital camera should I buy? Megapixels are just one of the things you want to take into consideration when purchasing a digital camera. You also want to consider things such as the size, the zoom lens, storage, and batteries.
You don't need to buy the camera with the highest megapixel count you can find. This may lead you to a rather large or heavy camera that you will not want to carry around with you everywhere. If you are going to use your camera to e-mail pictures to friends and relatives or also just printing out a quality picture, many cameras will do this job with a good resolution that have 5 megapixels. The size of your camera also depends on what you want to do with your camera. If you don't mind carrying it around in a larger case, then perhaps you want a bigger camera and with more megapixels, but if you are looking for a camera that easily fits in your pocket, you can find one and it will have around 5 megapixels.
The more optical zoom a camera has means the less cropping you will have to do on your computer for the picture, also when cropping you may have to worry about just how clear your picture is. Some cameras offer zoom ratings up to 15X which is great for sports or nature, but you will most likely need a tripod to keep it steady. Just beware of some advertising that combines the optical zoom, which moves the lens to magnify the object, and the digital zoom which captures fewer pixels and magnifies them. The optical zoom gives you the camera's maximum resolution and lets you get closer to the action.
Most digital cameras come with a starter memory card which only stores six to eight pictures, but this isn't that important because you should just go ahead and purchase an SD (Security Digital) card which you can find a 2GB SD card for around $20. Some cameras can use either disposable or rechargeable batteries, if that is the case it is more of a personal preference. The cost of disposable batteries can add up, but if you buy the rechargeable battery, that's all you need. The only drawback to rechargeable batteries is that you do have to wait while it is charging.
As you can see there are some things to consider when purchasing a digital camera, not to mention the most important thing, which is your budget. You can find a 5 megapixel camera, which will the job for most of us that are just capturing great moments, a good brand name with 3X optical zoom for less than $400.
If you're looking for a great deal on a new or used camera equipment please check out Ruts Camera, Whether you're looking to sell your camera
